The US is headed towards a serious recession that will be likely followed by a decade or so of stagflation. I can't stop it. No political philosophy can stop it. Adults in the kitchen may mitigate it a tad.
This is the cost of successive administrations' addiction to unlimited debt with Trump the biggest (pre-COVID) debt junkie of the lot.
Using debt to fund corporate tax cuts is nothing more than a pork barrelling wealth transfer. Reckless debt escalations are more common when actual socialists control governments. Trumpisim has nothing at all in common with conservative monetary and fiscal policies.
