Australian state border closures

My spouse has CIN. I do not.

CIN has been a reliable investment but like so many companies, it has never faced the unpredictable severity of what health officers (relied upon far too much) and panicked State Premiers call a 'pandemic'.

I previously held EVT but sold a long time ago for around A$11.60. While I used to think I'd made a mistake, now I'm not so sure.

CIN's largest holding is EVT.

Australia's Chief Medical Officer said this on Sunday Jan 10 (from 'The Oz' online):

'...Chief medical officer Paul Kelly said on Sunday it would likely to be the second half of the year before federal and state governments started to ease health and border restrictions...'

Bad for EVT. Rydges Hotels will inevitably suffer. So will QT.

Amazing that five of the six State Premiers (the sole exception is Gladys Berejiklian of NSW) want to continually 'work' to destroy Oz's tourism and interstate transport sectors, plus be unhelpful to the hospitality industry.

Cinemas may now be less profitable given COVID-19 restrictions and state border closures. Fewer tourists on the Gold Coast, for instance.
