a couple of points re PCR vs antigen

1) 90% of PCR positives are for peope who are NOT infectious (and you get your result in 2-3+ days)
2) the antigen tests pick up when people ARE infectious... in 15 mins... at a lower cost

Now you know why I call the govt the Benny Hill PCR Show. Their behaviour and actions are culpable.

By the time an Antigen test picks up an infection, the person is/has already been infectious. Most PCR tests come back within 24 hours and can isolate a person before they become infectious. That's 90% of positives isolated before infecting people. Not sure how that's a bad thing?
