It was the crew of fitters who removed all the bolts and didn't say anything to the rigger. A piece of plant weighing many tonnes just balancing in place, could have killed anyone. The rigger was assessing it to lift it after being called over the radio.

Like i said, i quit due to the poor safety onsite. Out of all Cimeco's sites they had running, degrussa had the worst safety record. While at Cimeco's other site's we always had morning prestart which discussed safety issues including anything which happened on other Cimeco sites. Degrussa always came up the most for site incidents.
