I did similar to you about 18 months ago, valued CLH at $1.60, bought in at $1.23, and was quite happy at the time.
Like yourself, I didn’t fully appreciate the management quality at the time, and was dismissive of the Mizikovsky sage as a former director throwing his toys out of the cot...
To be honest, I have no idea what the value of the company is right now. Whilst the company has sold off its assets, it still has a reasonable workforce/“capability” to reposture to existing work, or new accounts over the coming months.
Perhaps I’m too optimistic, but it’s quite possible for the company to rebuild overtime.
