Lacking any official explanation for the delay:
I think it's reasonable to assume that management are looking to avoid the ever increasing likelihood of volatility on Wall St and indeed many other city streets around Biden's inauguration ceremony (scheduled for the 20th).
Personally, I think it's a wise move and an encouraging sign of the Boards acumen.
