In this case I don't think its about tax losses - its about who gets to exploit the sulphides and what mining company will continue with the work - both oxides and sulphides.
We have been told there will be a new mining company and Compass Resources will trade again but the rest is speculation.
What will be interesting is the methodology used to appoint a new Board. Now that raises a number of questions with respect to ownership.
As far as a class action goes - the only way I would agree to drop the action is for some value to be maintained in the holding. A class action (using lawyers on spec) will depend entirely on overt statements on which shareholders can rely being made in the 439a.
