This not tax advice just a comment.
My understanding of tax law is your future capital gains can be offset by your AJM capital loss until it is exhausted.
Your revenue stream from other investments (dividends) will still be taxed and cannot be offset against the AJM capital loss.
I was a holder but not a large one. I lost $25,000 but that was because I wanted out having bought in at 40 cents and watched the price slip and slip and lost confidence in management. I think I saved $7,000.
