Pence has played it right so far...his letter to Pelosi covered all the bases needed to position himself favourably going forward...it will be interesting to see which Republicans are prepared to go down with Trump by voting against the impeachment...those who appear to court favour with Trump within Congress, the Senate or at a State level will have no chance for nomination in 2024...Pence will be relatively untouched by the past events and those about to unfold ....he can sit by the side watching GOP tear itself apart but in time be seen as a healer capable of bringing a very damaged party together
