Fully agree, a JV with an existing Chemical Converter would be my thoughts, possibly guaranteed Li Spod supply of Xtpa for Y% of the converter company etc.
Another interesting angle is with talk of Tesla setting up their own Li Spod to Li Hydroxide chemical conversion at Giga Texas will they end up duplicating this around the world, then Tesla USA, China, Germany all then desire a proven supplier of the 6% Li Spod to feed their plants ?
With the growth of the EV industry it will be interesting to see the relationships between the car makers, chemical converters and miners, for sure a more integrated supply chain for them to remain competitive, nice for PLS to have the material in demand as EV's and Chemical converters ramp up.
