Company can employ lawyer or accountant so they don't need to be chairman. if there wasn't any problem then 100m votes would not have casted against them... I can see a new tech oriented board can certainly make difference in particularly guiding CEO and company to diversify and de-risk from single source (majority) of income from GM... IMHO.
