Do you understand how options work? When these employee options get exercised NEW SHARES ARE CREATED. It dilutes the share pool and it won't show up as trading volume. Now it is possible that the employee dumps the shares as soon as he/she gets them and THAT would show up as trading volume.

If that's the case you'd better be selling out of MAE as well, especially if they are dumping BEFORE further announcements!
