Here is a nice graphic to highlight the differences between Havieron and AZY exploration activity.
The Greatland Gold Havieron deposit has moved from the Discovery to the Feasibility/Development period of the timeline with Newcrest approving the expenditure of capital for construction of box-cut, exploration decline and associated surface infrastructure at the Havieron Project.
In term of Antipa Minerals, it is still in the Speculation (discovery period) where there is ongoing exploration and technical risk with the benefit of increasing share price valuation in time. Given Antipa Minerals is exploring in multiple locations via Rio-IGO-NCM JV's then the odds of finding a new discovery in combination with upgrading existing resources is highly likely.
Greatland Gold's market capital has benefited from the discovery of a single deep mineral deposit. Whereas, Antipa Minerals will ultimately benefit from the discovery of multiple shallow million ounce mineral deposits. This will provide AZY share price with excellent growth potential in good time on multiple fronts.
