The PPL core business is a data analytics, consumer insights & media company. In addition to delivering proprietary technology to media companies and business decision-makers.
SaaS is a growth opportunity they are currently working on.

The client list at PPL is over 600 strong. With 83% of these being returning customers which says something for retention. Clients on the record are Australia Post, the Federal Government & Volkswagen plus many other Tier 1 companies.

Recapitalization:
The burden of $25m in debt has been removed ($3m remains) in a conversion to equity play made by the new CEO, Martin Filz, as of August 2020. Martin is very experienced in building data insights businesses, (formerly Neilson, WPP, Kantar and Dynata). He raised $18.8m @ .02 through Lucerne Composite Fund who now owns circa 20% of PPL and underwrote $15.3m of the raise. The $3m in debt is held by LCF on a 3 year tem of 8.5% with no business covenants existing.
A clean slate now exists to drive the company forward.

Business:
PPL generated $6.36m in revenue in Q1 FY21 with data and insights contributing $5.21m, an increase of 11% on Q1 FY20.
Q1 FY21 EBITDA of $0.88m, up 61% on Q4 FY20 and 17% on Q1 FY20 , an increase of 19% on Q4 FY20
Operating expenses for the period were $2.56m, an improvement of 19% or $0.59m on Q1 FY1.
Pureprofile has provided FY21 EBITDA guidance of $2.5m to $3.0m.

Revenue is growing and costs are declining!!!

If the next 1/4ly comes in over the guidance then a rerate will be taking place very promptly.
The company is making money and its important to note just how much in the next 1/4ly due in the next couple of weeks.
@2.2c the Mkt cap is $23M.

Cellnet CLT was the last company that had this kind of a set up that I took a position in.
CLT was .03 and now .14 over 3 months or so.
I expect that the market will be paying some attention soon.

Technically:
This morning has seen some very large bites of the cherry early so something is going on with a volume spike.
.024 is a resistance of sorts then a break of .026 is a clear sky ahead.

Happy to hear thoughts on this one and get some other perspectives.

Good analysis! Martin said in the presentation last Dec that 2nd quarter result will be released in mid Jan. So this time we would see it earlier than before? any possibility for tomorrow or next week?
