Dear Sir / MadamRequest for Trading HaltFirefinch Limited (“Company”) hereby requests a Trading Halt in its securities from ASX effective immediately(14 January 2021).In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises that:The Company has received an amended notice of tax in relation to the year ended 31 December 2017for its 80% owned subsidiary Société Des Mines De Morila SA. The Company requests an immediate trading halt to be placed on its securities to enable it to assess the correspondence and make an announcement regarding its position on the assessment.The Company requests a trading halt for the purpose of evaluating and assessing the correspondence received from the Malian Taxation authorities.The trading halt is to last until the earlier of the Company releasing an announcement, or the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 18 January 2021.The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
