AUD MC is ~3.4 bill, I think almost in line with what ALB paid for "60%" of Wodgina and more recently IGO's purchase of a 24.95% stake in Greenbushes for $1.9 bill. Both buys include ownership of chem conversion. Checks out IMO, or does ALB and IGO have nfi and overpaid???
Have you seen VUL's capex estimates for is fully developed project (which includes an energy business and hydroxide plant). They spending EU$1.74 bill (AUD $2.7 bill). They expect to produce 40kt of hydroxide per year. If they go full hog and it's fully funded upfront, opex looks very good, nonetheless big bucks for 40kt pa.
