However I don’t think AMEX can be labelled a tiny piece of global puzzle. In fact they are a huge piece of a global puzzle.

Whilst AMEX does not have a huge presence in AUS they certainly do in USA.

We’re talking over 115 million cards globally and nearly half of those in the US.

Global transaction volume for AMEX was $1.241 trillion in 2019

Its worth noting in USA, Amex purchase volume is higher than all other cards COMBINED.

We are not talking about a tiny piece.

These figures should put into perspective how big a potential partnership with AMEX really is. If this comes off we are talking astronomical growth for Splitit.
