Bull sharks kill more humans than any other type.......I see the kids swimming in the channels near my place.....they are gamer than I am and lucky me ....I have swam just about everywhere but I would not swim in dirty shallow water on the nsw central coast.. Recall the navy diver lost a leg and an arm to a Bull in Sydney harbour and saved by a mate Ballina break wall where a bull bit a young kid brought ashore by a very brave mate only to die from blood loss on the beach before the ambo's got there. Bull sharks shake when they bite ....cause huge blood loss. bull sharks aint funny.....world wide menace.

Thanks two, upon reading your post, I went further in my quest on the importance of sand bars here in the near Perth vicinity vis-vis bull sharks. I was led to The shark in Nyungar culture.https://anthropologyfromtheshed.com/project/shark-in-nyungar-culture/ I now understand the name of mattagarup, and its connection with Heirisson island. Mea culpa on my part, well yes. Egg on face maybe, but with all mistakes lessons are learned, I live on, all the better for it, tis but a scratch on the skin. I commend all to read the link that I posted. Raider
