FG Trader, Hi, think you need to reread your post, you may find that you have fallen into the trap of generalizing about a group from exposure to a limited number of examples.
Sentences starting "People who are atheist" or "People who are religous" , usually hide a lack of intellectual rigor in an argument.
Also really difficult to hate something you dont believe exists.
I for instance, having an enquiring mind, found it difficult to reconcile religous teachings with the science mags I started reading at age 7.
Maybe my beliefs are incorrect, but apart from hysterical quotes from various holy books, haven't been presented with any evidence to give me a belief in god. My beliefs are based on what I observe. If I dont understand what I see, I try and work it out, ascribing my lack of understanding to the existence to a supernatural being[bearded or otherwise], unlikely to be enough for me.
