Appreciate your post and happy to find it endorses my understanding of the situation.

I was pleased to see the $1.15 (Canadian Dollars!) and the consequential reduction in number of shares required for the issue. --- And not the usual passing on of share issue to "mates" at grossly reduced price, requiring grossly more issue.

The market has taken the announcement on board with Anvil ending at C$1.24 on TSX equating to AU$1.42 on a large volume of 3.4 million shares. A positive indication as is
not a large variation of previous market price.
Another indication that institutions were prepared for the announcement.

Delighted to read in KKR's post that the banks are likely to provide the $200 million loan.
The prolonged process in obtaining the loan does not please or surprise.
