Alice Queen Ltd has a constructive, positive relationship with the traditional owners of Horn Island and Prince of Wales Island. Andrew is VERY aware of the importance of the relationship.
As for your sentiment concerning Prince of Wales Island. There are numerous mines spread over the continent of Australia which have been developed in 'pristine' land. Take Ranger Uranium Mine smack bang in the middle of Kakadu National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage area, and upstream from a Ramsar site (Magela Floodplain).
The Pilbara, a (stunning) region of WA in reasonably good condition is littered with Iron Ore mines, and gold mines in the near future imo. And the same position concerning traditional owners.
SBM will take the Horn Island deposit to mine - in partnership with AQX, imo. Too early to comment regarding Prince of Wales Island.
