"There’s been a nice group of banks with better-than- expected earnings and some of the fear around the financial system is subsiding,” said James Gaul, portfolio manager at Boston Advisors LLC, which manages $1.5 billion in Boston. “We’re going to see a fairly significant rally into the summertime.”
The hfa funds have made a habit of beating the general market, so in the last month their performances could be very significant and carry on if the stability and markets carry on with a rally..
