Yes, I'm far from where I want to be. I realize that. Would like to get hold of a good teacher but many of them seem ....I dunno, a bit lost in the ceremony of it all (whatever it is they teach). I'm not into ritual, ceremony or formal approaches unless I can see a definite end result, or at least the expectation that I might eventually get somewhere useful.
