just add on to that, lots of hardware comes with a preset of trusted certificates (with expiry date, usually 10+ years) on the system ie, your smart phone, tablet. In this case it looks like a specific version of Worldline terminal has the expired certificate and for whatever reason failed to be renewed. If that's true, Tyro would not take the full blame.
