Am curious as to what tech AMX has that NEA does not. Lidar? I am not from the industry and have no idea generally but from my research LiDAR seems like a capital intensive process with a limited total addressable market. Happy to be corrected, also happy for NEA to concentrate on products with a larger TAM and margin.
NEA has spent many years building both frontend and backend systems (from the looks of their employee calibre). I doubt AMX have the same tech maturity as a platform IMO.
NEA is being valued on ACV rather than profit at the moment.
