You sound like you are circumspect and have a handle on it and IMO your assumptions look conservative enough. I retired early and the shares that have done the most for me have been over the last ten years have been MQG,WES,FPH,RMD,ALL a diversified lot but have performed enough to double my fund that is why I prefer them to miners,when I first started in the share market in the 80s it was easy to make money in miners. It took the 87 crash show me that they were all rubbish I lost around $250,000 almost over night and then they just keep going down when other shares started to pick up.,the share market exacts a high price for on the job training.
