Horn Island AQX/ST barbara Results this month!!!!!, page-17

I recently visited Horn Island with the AQX team and had the pleasure to meet a number of important local elders which was a fabulous experience. From what I saw Andy & Dale and the rest of the AQX team have established an incredibly strong bond with the locals, with both sides holding each other in high regard.

You have to remember there was a moratorium on mining on Horn Island for almost two decades after the previous miners left a total environmental mess having had no regard for the landowners or place.

It took years for Andy & Dale to prove to the locals they were genuine in their intentions. Over that time they have become true friends with the locals and importantly have a great working partnership with the elders who see a great opportunity for the young locals to actively participate in the future of the mining operations on Horn Island.

St Barbara also has an excellent track record in working in partnership with the locals as has been demonstrated at Simberi.
