Good on Regis for rejecting an offer that was just opportunistic and predatory. Yes we can expect the share price to decline in response but sectorial changes to the aged care sector post Royal Commission and COVID will restore value over time. Fair value for the company is well north of $3 which is where it was trading prior to COVID and the uncertainty of the Royal Commission was impacting well before that. This takeover offer was an attempt to play shareholders for mugs
