Just looking at the Positive Intranasal Animal Data against SARS-CoV-2 in International Study announcement and I can see that the doses for R327 were (low 200mg/kg high 400mg/kg) R529 (low 100mg/kg high 200mg/kg) why would they use different dosing levels for the compounds?

We can only go off what the company says about the two hamsters dossed with a higher amount of R527. If they’ve released a statement in an announcement saying “In a separate study, R327 and R529 indicated an excellent toxicity profile with less than 0.25% effect on Vero (monkey) cells at the concentrations tested.” Then that’s all I can go off. I’m not a scientist so I cant really speculate further on the results. If anyone can then that would be appreciated.

R327 on the other hand. I can interpret the data from previous announcements as exceptional “The studies indicated a No Observed Adverse Effect Level (NOAEL) in either animal species tested, at any time during or post the study periods, when dosed at 500mg/kg. Invivo studies continue to indicate efficacy at 50-70mg/kg of RECCE® 327, suggesting a wide therapeutic dosing window.”
