No they don't resell server space.
They provide a 'Network as a service' to large businesses - these businesses require secure, reliable, flexible connectivity between their various sites (remember most enterprises are running IT across multiple clouds and data-centres (either on-premise or co-located in a larger DC provider) - all potentially need to be connected.
Public internet is not a real option hence these businesses are getting this 'Network as a services' from Megaport.
Going to traditional network providers (eg BT, Telstra) is slow and inflexible (eg provision times, charging models)
Megaport offers these enterprises a platform to simply connect and configure their backend network 'on the fly' and pay for what they need/use.
