I agree with this. There needs to be a superior place to put the money for me to sell.
The definition of "superior" being subjective.
i don't see any company in the ASX having the same upside from today, let alone enough to cover the CGT liability.
The difficulty for me is I'm in Sydney where everything is expensive. If I were in another city, i'd just borrow against my shares to buy a waterfront penthouse.
