"The largest incremental cost in the conversion of LiC to LiH is typically energy, including both power and heat. Ioneers cost to produce battery grade LiH from LiC will be materially lower than industry norms because of several factors:


Ideal quality, technical grade LiC produced in the main plant

Excess steam and power generated by sulphuric acid plant

High lithium recoveries do to recycle steam back into the main plant

A reduction in reagent costs achieved through the recycling of calcium carbonate back into the main plant"
