Is that claim still true ... was reading the PFS for the LAC (Lithium America Corp) project in Nevada where they will be mining and processing Li from clay based materials.
It will also be Carbon neutral..... the processing will use Sulphuric Acid from onsite acid plant which uses elemental Sulphur as raw material. The acid production is highly exothermic and the heat will power turbines to provide all electricity for the project + some export as well as all process heat for the processing plant.
