"During share trading blackout periods no director, employee, contractor or their immediate family members, may purchase or sell Company securities other than to convert options to ordinary shares as part of the Company's incentive schemes. Blackout periods are instated at least twenty trading days prior to the release of financial results."

Prophet4me I wasn't looking to attack management, I wanted to gloat at the meteoric rise in the share price, and so I accessed the Hotcopper graph where the director share purchase was hard to miss. It's Hotcopper's fault.
I also agree with your argument to a point. It's the kind of argument I used to us, when I got caught not wearing my seatbelt.
Now to discuss the relationship of "financial results", "Relenza Q3 royalty", and "I'm sorry sir, but I'm still going to have to give you a ticket".
