Neither can I claim 'expertise' but what timber1956 may be suggesting is to examine the PE (price to earnings) ratio of technology companies like XRO. When I checked the ratio this morning it was an astounding 4321.5! (I do not hold any technology stocks apart from 3PL if one can call it by that sector name).
It may be a coded message to hold onto your shares as investor sentiment may change for the better post-merger.
