thanks for the heads up Saintex... considering that VOC tried to sell its NZ arm in 2017, but considered the offers presented as undervalued... logic would suggest that they are hoping that an IPO will at a minimum allow them a partial sale - to which can be immediately put against their debt - with further sell downs as time progresses.
Considering that there is some form of commercial agreement between Vocus & Vodaphone over unbundled fibre over there since 2018... would assume that it would remain status quo until the new owners management team (if it happens / things change) review the current arrangements. Considering the market share that Vodaphone has in NZ currently - you would / could assume that we would have the better leverage leading any conversation between the two parties.
