Shanghai tech centre is just to get talent to help do everything better and a bit cheaper too. it isn't for rollout in China of Afterpay. AP ventures owns a share in HAPPAY which is is scaling already in two Chinese cities. I think this could be IPOd itself at some point for $10-20b and that would add maybe $2-5b to Afterpay's valuation... Zip just needs to execute well in USA / uk and tidy up the branding and back-end cloud.
