Hmm, have you factored in the exchange rate and that they out quarterly? They shifted to quarterly in 2019 to align with Bemis.
Using AUD dividend for the ASX listed stock: past four payments have been 16.55, 16.00, 17.70, and 17.10c AUD for a total of 67.35cAUD over the trailing twelve months. At current price of $14.39, that's 4.68%.
Interesting to note that with Bemis, they are a Dividend Aristocrat. I have read that they have increased their dividends for 36 consecutive years, but on their website you can only go back to 1999. And if you look at their dividend growth over that period, Bemis has achieved 5.4% CAGR since 1999-2019, and Amcor has achieved 4.55% from 2001-19 (this excludes the period since the acquisition as it's a bit more complicated to express). Not bad considering analysts out their continue to decry they have no moat.. probably approaching one of the best value investments on the ASX.
