A million is not enough to retire, nowadays. Unless you are a 85 year old. If you are around 45, aim for 5 million Aussie dollars. I am a millionare(3.2) and I still can't retire when I think that money loses 50% of the purchasing power every 20 years. That is why I am always looking for investment ideas, and working just to get off my computer screen(for health reason).
