When asked at his address to BRR this am "how soon will Johnstone Oil Prospect be drilled"? John Heugh replied "we want to drill Johnstone asap and will use our best endeavours to do so, but we need the official go ahead from our JV partners which is planned to happen by late June 2009;meanwhile we are pressing ahead with preparations, seismic has been done; we are fine tuning location and access".
CTP estimates that Johnstone has potential undiscovered oil in place of up to 300 MMbbls, according to recent CTP reports.
Is it not time to commence our evaluations of the possible cash flows to JV partners from Johnstone?? Conix
