Now a few weeks since I posted that tin was about to run up based on backwardation in the market contracts. It has done just that. It is still backwardated, together with nickel, the only two to be so, so expect more recovery in the tin price- and following from that, a higher price for MLX, other things being equal. A higher nickel price cannot do us any harm either. Thats happening too.
Who ya gonna call?
Is China building stocks? At these prices Id sooner own tin than bonds.
