The Gold results are a mystery until they are released but I sincerely think that to say they are poor is extremely unlikely.

Voytek posted some educational links to government websites last night which indicate that most gold mines in Australia have about 5 Grams per ton (or less if the cost of retrieval is low) to be economically viable. As Philley pointed out, visible gold is not usually visible unless it has a concentration of upwards of 30 Grams a ton.

Given that the blokes were able to find 80 gold nuggets on the surface with simple geologist hammers, I would be willing to stake that the gold results are likely well above 5 Grams a ton, which means at the very least, the Gold is probably economically viable as a stand alone side project to the lithium. Just how viable however is anybodies guess until the RAB drilling results are released and we then follow up with RC or Diamond tip drilling for greater accuracy.

As for the lithium itself, the Interview that Wenty posted last night had Stephen Biggins actually saying that there will be a substantial upgrade in overall resource from the Finniss project. Granted, its all locations we have previously drilled but I'm quite confident that announcement will shore up our overall megatonnage nicely.
