you're right Rembrandt, wars are just part of the tapestry of the nation, a tragic part, but that's no excuse for glorifying old wars.... and just for the record, seven members of my family were killed in action in WWII, so I'm not entirely divorced from the matter.... those who returned alive said they never would have gone to war if not forced to do so....
