Thanks for the rap, Adrian. As an ex-journo, I'm like an old sheepdog who can't quite give up the old life. Banging out a few paragraphs each morning helps clarify my trading ideas for the day ahead and I find the exercise highly beneficial.

Buffett, thanks for your contributions here. Preaching fundamentals to day-traders must sometimes feel like trying to teach chimps algebra but your posts are always thoughtful and are very welcome. As Poly amply demonstrates, the best of our breed has a healthy grasp of the fundamental reasons why a particular stock is moving, as well as charting, momentum and psychology. Keep posting please.
