If the potential for green hydrogen was a furphy why are so many respectable entities backing it?

Ditto hydrogen-fuelled cars ( although if green hydrogen runs in  the grids of the world , as Twiggy predicts, they all will be?)

...And why should developments  in this field not continue to be made  when there is progress in so many others including  medicine, dentistry and even NCM811 battery technology?
