Thank you for that ... i too had missed the Federal land ... but fortunately the temporary 60 day pause and the Executive Order seem to be aimed squarely at oil, gas and fracking operations.
Maybe BNL permit has been caught up in this and delayed. Maybe BNL will suffer a bit of collateral damage while the legal dust settles and maybe there will be more short-term profit-taking (people got to eat so i forgive you) ... but is any of this likely to deny BNL a drilling permit? I doubt it.
Silver linings? A few ... Drilling costs to BNL only likely to go down further as oil/gas activity tapers off Less competition for BNL if they decide to do more land-shopping As always, longer-term holders who bought cheap and now selling high (for whatever reason) continue to put a nice solid floor under SP.
I'm not a fan of guns at all but ... they'll have to take my BNL shares from my cold, dead hands.
