Declining rates of discovery in exploration may be generally true for the industry. It needn't be so for CTP. CTP describes its tenements as frontier. SFD ( stress field detection ) is used successfully in frontier situations. It uses 22 sensors in fly overs and gives immediate results. It costs a fraction of cost of seismic. CTP could significantly reduce exploration spend, time, and minimise exploration disappointment using SFD. It could also result in CTP retaining greater ownership of its prospects. Southern Amadeus, southern Georgina, Wiso are obvious applications.
