Hi STW, spot on imo except for a minor detail -
The original purification stage (as per the below schematics) may not be required, instead replaced by some “bolt-ons” or modification to the preceding part of the flowsheet. So your second pic above should cross out that purification step. I assume you meant that and it was just an oversight in your pic.

As you/others have noted, if possible, this will have a significant impact on the total production costs of BG carbonate compared to the earlier plan, and be a massive advantage moving forward!

Earlier identified as to be constructed off site for practical and technical simplicity:



Now (hopefully) not required, instead to be “replaced” by some enhancements to the preceding steps in order to hit BG from the onsite plant.
Imo, this should indeed be possible and feasible, considering the BG success of some others who are dealing with far less superior brines. We’ll see.

A big 6 months ahead imo!
