The point of NFWG uranium reserve was to prop up U.S. miners when the Uranium price was to low for them to mine and there MC also to low for the miners to raise funds and stay afloat.
Market conditions have changed and are expected to keep improving, Uranium price has improved(but still needs higher price) and U.S. miners MC has improved 2x to 4x folds so capable to raise funds now.
Some have U inventory which is most likely to be first and maybe the last/only that stock piled as the Uranium sector improved..... PEN way down the list,... As Energy Fuels and UR-Energy CEO said, funds should go to PROVEN mines.....
No need for U.S. tax payers to fund unneeded stock piles that only benefits shareholders in public companies if sector conditions keep improving, it why the budget will be assessed every year.....

As for buy American.,.. ura-bull you know, that Canada and Australia are exempted in Uranium, and are likely to be the beneficiary's of that policy over U.S. miners because of higher grades and lower costs.....
