This resort has potential,imo.

Forest Resort is located in the gold fields of Australia.
With tourist attractions like Sovereign Hill Gold Mining Town close by.
The history of the region and first immigrants from China and Europe working in the diggings, could be of real interest to those countries tourists/investors,imo.
They still share an involvement in our mining industry today.
Apart from golf or getting away from the city which every other resort touts ..this location is pretty special...
The excitement of a treasure hunt, prospecting, with metal detectors or retracing the multicultural history of the area could bring people wanting an active adventure with purpose. [ie The discovery of the 'Hand of Faith' gold nugget 6 inches below ground level was found using a metal detector.]

Personally I think tourists can get golf, a spa, a restuarant anywhere in the world and we have to offer more .......... something unique.
Not the usual 'consummer' type, shop type, holiday.

I just dont like seeing our excellent investments in building and tourist companies being downgraded.

I can see from the link, that a lot of good peoples' work has gone into, what should be winning investments..if not now, in the future.

Just a point to ponder...
When I saw that this resort was not branded Stella,mantra etc.
I felt puzzled that PIF was supporting/lending to a competitor in the tourist industry.

But when PIF supports builders building Stella resorts it is said to be lending to related parties....

Cant win either way.

I know there are 'other' serious issues but think about that perspective.
